Discover Buckingham Palace as an exciting source for creative writing. In this session, led by a published author, your students will be given their own writer’s notebook and encouraged to be fearless in their writing. They will be invited to become Buckingham Palace Royal Writers!
As they explore the magnificent staterooms the students will have the opportunity to experience for themselves how authors develop characters, generate ideas, build vocabulary, and evoke setting and atmosphere.
They will leave with a notebook filled with ideas, vocabulary, story starters and research questions to be developed.
The sessions are designed for KS2/KS3 and Teachers’ Notes with suggested follow up activities are provided to accompany the session.
